Description of Work: <br /> 1. Clean roof surfaces of all debris. <br /> 2. If the weather sensor stations set on the roof surface are not in use, remove the weather sensor supports with <br /> CMU blocks from the roof surface. <br /> 3. If the weather sensor stations are still in use, install a single-ply walk pad under the weather sensor supports. <br /> 4. Install TPO membrane patches over the damage to the stripping ply membrane at the roof edge. <br /> 1.2 Related documents <br /> A. Removal: Remove and legally dispose of items except those indicated to be reinstalled, salvaged, or to remain <br /> property of the Owner. <br /> B. Existing to remain: Protect construction indicated to remain against damage and soiling during selective removals. <br /> When permitted by Engineer, items may be removed to a suitable, protected storage location during selective <br /> demolition and then cleaned and reinstalled in their original locations. <br /> C. Material ownership: Except for items or materials indicated to be reused,salvaged, reinstalled,or otherwise indicated <br /> to remain the Owner's property, removed materials shall become the Contractor's property and shall be removed <br /> from the site. <br /> 1.4 Single-ply roof Assembly* <br /> A. TPO single-ply roof membrane assembly: <br /> 1. Fully adhered TPO membrane over cover board and two layers of board insulation over substrate board over <br /> structurally sloped 1-1/2" metal roof deck. <br /> 2. Roof area drains over the roof edge to the adjacent standing seam metal roof. <br /> 3. Three sides are adjacent to CMU parapet walls flashed with TPO flashing membrane and the top of the walls <br /> are covered with sheet metal coping cover. <br /> * Roof system composition is based on record drawings, composition is not confirmed. Recommend <br /> verifying existing roof system components prior to submitting a bid proposal. <br /> PART 2 -PRODUCTS <br /> A. Walk pad compatible with TPO single-ply membrane. <br /> B. TPO patching membrane compatible with the existing TPO single-ply membrane. <br /> PART 3 -EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 Removals <br /> A. Clean roof surfaces of all debris. <br /> B.
