Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by <br /> manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's <br /> recommended limits. <br /> B. Ventilate area to receive insulation to maintain safe working conditions. <br /> C. Protect workers as recommended by standards and manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> D. Protect adjacent surfaces,windows, equipment and site areas from damage. <br /> 1.8 WARRANTY <br /> A. Manufacturer's Warranty: Provide warranty limited to waterproofing materials for a period of[ten (10)] years from <br /> date of Substantial Performance of the Work. <br /> B. Provide an Extended Warranty: Provide a five (5) year warranty to include coverage for failure to meet specified <br /> requirements, including defects caused by faulty workmanship. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br /> A. Acceptable Manufacturers: <br /> 1. Kryton International Inc. Basis of Design <br /> 2. Equals <br /> a. Tremco. <br /> b. Euclid Chemical. <br /> 2.2 WATERPROOFING MATERIALS <br /> A. Crystalline Surface-Applied Waterproofing: dry powder mixed with water. <br /> 1. Working Time (20oC/68°F, 50% RH): 60 minutes. <br /> 2. Performance Properties: Pull off Strength (ASTM C1583): 3.1 MPa (450 psi). <br /> 3. Shape of crystal: The shape of the crystal when observed under 30x magnification will be long and needle <br /> shaped allowing them to grow deeper and pack more tightly. <br /> 4. Acceptable Product: Krystol T1 and T2 Surface Applied Waterproofing System or approved equal by other <br /> manufacturer listed. <br /> 5. Water: Potable, clean,free from salt. Potential Heat value per NFPA 259. <br /> 2.3 MIXES <br /> A. Mix ingredients in clean containers to achieve performance requirements specified. <br /> B. Mix only quantities that can be applied before mixture begins to set, in accordance with manufacturer's written <br /> recommendations. <br /> 2.4 ACCESSORIES <br /> A. Water Stop Plug: Fast-setting, dry powdered, hydraulic cement compound for concrete leak repair and patching. <br /> 1. Working Time (20oC/68°F, 50% RH): 1 minute. <br /> 2. Hardening Time(20°C/68°F, 50% RH): 2 minutes <br /> 3. Performance Properties: Compressive strength (ASTM C109): 50 MPa (7250 psi)@ 7 days. <br /> 4. Acceptable Product:As recommended by the manufacturer. <br /> B. Repair Grout: Fast-setting, dry powdered, non-shrink,fiber reinforced, crystalline waterproof cement compound for <br /> concrete leak repair and patching. <br /> 1. Working Time (20oC/68°F, 50% RH): 30 minutes. <br /> 2. Hardening Time(20°C/68°F, 50% RH): 60 minutes. <br /> 3. Performance Properties: <br /> a. Hydrostatic head resistance: 140 m (460 ft.). <br /> b.
