This form is required to be attached to the Bid Form. See Document 00 21 13"Instructions to Bidders." <br /> 1.2 DESCRIPTION <br /> A. Each bidder shall show below the cash amounts included in the Contract Sum for use at the direction of the Owner. <br /> B. The total for quantity allowances shall be the total cost using Document 00 43 22"Bid Supplement-Unit Prices" and <br /> the quantities from Section 01 21 00"Allowances." <br /> C. The bidder shall be responsible for determining from the Contract Documents the effects of each Allowance on the <br /> Contract Time and/or Contract Sum. <br /> D. The Owner reserves the right to utilize funds identified under Allowances solely at the Owner's discretion and to <br /> amend the Contract accordingly during the period of the contract. <br /> 1.3 SCHEDULE OF ALLOWANCES-(GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT) <br /> A. Allowance No. 1: Remove and replace two hundred(200)linear feet of existing sealant and backing material at CMU <br /> masonry wall control/expansion joints. <br /> B. Allowance No. 2: Remove five hundred (500) linear feet of sealant applied to cracks in CMU and cracks in CMU <br /> masonry joints. <br /> C. Allowance No. 3: Cut-out/rout one hundred (100) linear feet of cracks in CMU blocks and install backer material and <br /> sealant. <br /> D. Allowance No. 3: Cut-out/rout one hundred (100) linear feet of cracks in CMU blocks and install backer material and <br /> sealant. <br /> E. Allowance No. 4: Cut-out/rout six hundred (600) linear feet of mortar and repoint CMU masonry joints. Refer to <br /> Section 04 01 20, Masonry Restoration. <br /> F. Allowance No. 5: Remove and replace six (6) split-faced CMU blocks. Refer to Section 04 01 20, Masonry <br /> Restoration. <br /> G. Allowance No. 6: Cleaning of two thousand (2,000) square feet of exterior CMU masonry surface. Refer to Section <br /> 04 01 20, Masonry Restoration. <br /> H. Allowance No. 7: Application of water repellant to seven thousand five hundred (7,500)square feet of exterior CMU <br /> masonry surface. Refer to Section 07 19 00, Water Repellants. <br /> I. Allowance No.8:Surface preparation and application of primer and coating to one hundred(100)square feet of sheet <br /> metal surface. Refer to Section 09 90 00, Painting. <br /> J. Allowance No. 9: Surface preparation and application of thirty (30) linear feet of 2-inch width pre-manufactured <br /> silicone strip at metal joints.
