Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Chair Rich said Item 4-a will be deferred, due to staff illness. <br /> 25 The Board agreed by consensus to move Items 11-a and 11- b up to Items 4-b and 4- <br /> 26 c, since Bob Marotto, Animal Services Director, was in attendance to address any questions. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 29 Chair Rich acknowledged the public charge. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Arts Moment <br /> 32 Orange County Arts Commission Member Ashley Nissler introduced Joan Barasovka: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Arts Moment—Joan Barasovska grew up in Philadelphia and lives in Chapel Hill, North <br /> 35 Carolina. She is an academic therapist in private practice. Joan co-hosts the Flyleaf Books <br /> 36 Second Thursday Poetry Series at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill. She serves on the Board of <br /> 37 the North Carolina Poetry Society. "Birthing Age", from Finishing Line Press, is her first book of <br /> 38 poetry. <br /> 39 Joan Barasovska read three poems: <br /> 40 First reading: Early March <br /> 41 Second reading: The Tower of my Adult Aloneness <br /> 42 Third reading: Orange County <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Chair Rich referred to the tragedy in New Zealand, and read some comments about <br /> 45 the need to stand up against hatred and acts of violence in any form. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 2.
