2 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The land will be donated, so the only cost to the County will be <br /> transaction costs. Funds for the donation acceptance would come from Orange County ($8,000 <br /> for closing costs). <br /> The County's share of funds (approximately $8,000) will come from existing funds budgeted and <br /> approved in the Lands Legacy Capital Project, so this does not require separate budget <br /> amendment action. <br /> With this allocation, approximately $2.33 million remains available in the Lands Legacy Capital <br /> Project. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br /> with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1) Accept the donation of approximately 10-acres of land for the future Millhouse Road Park <br /> located at 6915 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill from Dorothy Gochnauer Heirs, with a <br /> closing and recordation of the document expected to occur on or about June 30, 2019; <br /> and <br /> 2) Authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary documents subject to review by <br /> the County Attorney. <br />
