Both parties are
interested in renewing the License Agreement. The renewal agreement (attached) keeps the
same terms as the current agreement in terms of use and payment.
Because the term is for more than one year, the License Agreement requires Board approval.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The ERFM pays $300 annually as a lump sum, payable within 30 days
of execution of the License Agreement. Based on historical trends, the ERFM has minimal
electricity usage during its hours of operation, and requires no other financial resources from the
County. The ERFM cleans the Pavilion after use. County staff from DEAPR and Asset
Management Services perform periodic maintenance on the facility.
SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to
this item:
• GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY
The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding necessary
for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for themselves and their
dependents.
