sold again in 1988 to Whisnant/Phillips Partnership, who formed the White Cross Partnership <br />and subdivided the parcel. <br />The school building served a variety of functions including a community art space, writer's <br />space, and furniture store until 2008, when Our Playhouse Preschool began leasing the <br />building. In 2011, they purchased the building and continue to use the building for their <br />preschool. The owners replaced the asphalt - shingled roof in 2014. Future work plans for the <br />building include restoring the original wood windows and trim while removing lead paint from <br />all woodwork and refinishing the wood floors. <br />7 <br />9 <br />
