Specifically, the HRC encourages
communication and understanding across all cultures and values within Orange
County through its community conversations. Further, the HRC "foster[s] a
community culture that rejects oppression and inequity" through its recognition of
residents that fight for social justice and promote equality during the annual Pauli
Murray Awards. Finally, the HRC's Forum and Town Hall Meetings "enable full
civic participation" by providing opportunities for public comment and discussion
on issues important to the community members.
Held the HRC retreat on Saturday, June 23. We clarified responsibilities and
relationships.
Describe the collaboration relationship(s) this particular board has with other
advisory boards and commissions?
