Two specific <br /> types of vouchers identified are the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) and <br /> Family Unification (FUP) vouchers. <br /> Continue to improve the management of the HCV program, as evidenced by the <br /> previous year's higher overall SEMAP Indicators Report score and strive for a <br /> "High Performer" rating. <br /> Working with staff, identify any additional staffing needs within the Department <br /> and if possible, work with the BOCC to help secure the needed resources for any <br /> needed new positions. <br /> What are the concerns or emerging issues your board has identified for the <br /> upcoming year that it plans to address, or wishes to bring to the <br /> Commissioners' attention? <br /> • The ongoing need for: <br /> o Training for OCHA Board members given the changing dynamics in <br /> the public housing sector and understanding of financial reporting. <br /> o Better communication across all organizations (within and outside <br /> of government) that focus on affordable housing matters. <br /> o Enhanced communication and engagement between landlords, <br /> utility services, the County and the HCV Program. <br /> o Additional trainings and workshops to build and/or enhance the <br /> self-sufficiency of HCV participants. <br /> 4 <br />
