10 <br /> 6. Priorities for 2019 We have been asked by the Chapel Hill Town Council to submit <br /> our strategic budget priorities for 2019. They are <br /> 1) additional resources for routine maintenance and capital level maintenance to <br /> allow parks, greenways, public spaces and aging infrastructure to be maintained at safe <br /> and acceptable levels <br /> 2) update our Greenways Master Plan and Parks Master Plan (including facilities <br /> update) and add an Open Space Master Plan and a Programming Plan. This should <br /> include planning for the American Legion property. <br /> 3) begin to focus on non-traditional funding (grants, naming opportunities, etc) for <br /> some capital projects. This would require a financial commitment to begin with, in terms <br /> of personnel. The Inclusive Playground would be a good first project for this initiative. <br />
