This ranks Orange County as 22"d among North Carolina counties far economic impact. <br />More than 1,710 jobs and a payroll of $26.32 million were directly attributable to travel and <br />tourism. State and local tax revenues from travel to Orange County amounted to $9.28 million, <br />representing a tax savings of $75 to each County resident. <br />Plans for 2004-2005 include re-design of all publications, new partnerships, and a new <br />promotion highlighting culinary activities in Orange County. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact at this time. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the annual report. <br />
