The Town of Chapel Hill has agreed to pay for 50% of the cost to construct a gravel drive <br /> along an existing undeveloped public right of way to provide the County and Towns with a <br /> southern access to the Green Tract. <br /> Since this project was not anticipated as part of the Capital Investment Plan, a budget <br /> amendment is necessary to fund this project. Staff recommends that the funds be re-purposed <br /> from the completed Telephone System Replacement Capital Project to fund the project.
