Closed Session <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> adjourn into closed session at 9:58 p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> "To discuss and take action regarding plans to protect public safety as it relates to existing or <br /> potential terrorist activity and to receive briefings by staff members, legal counsel, or law <br /> enforcement or emergency service officials concerning actions taken or to be taken to respond <br /> to such activity." NCGS 143- 318.11(a)(9). <br /> "To discuss the County's position and to instruct the County Manager and County Attorney on <br /> the negotiating position regarding the terms of a contract to purchase real property," NCGS § <br /> 143-318.11(a)(5). <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> reconvene into regular session at 10:35 p.m. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin requested that going forward that he would prefer having closed <br /> session materials sent to him electronically instead of having a deputy to deliver to his home. <br /> Commissioner Price agreed. <br /> 14.
