MPO/RPO NCDOT Projects Use Planner, 919-245-2567 <br /> PURPOSE: Receive staff updates and provide any comments that the Board might have. <br /> Item 7.a. — FY 2020-2029 Orange County Strategic Transportation Investment Program <br /> STIP — North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has released the draft fiscal <br /> year 2020-2029 STIP for public comments. It is scheduled for adoption by the Board of <br /> Transportation on June 2019. This state capital improvement program identifies which <br /> transportation projects are committed and developed for ten years. Attachment 7.a. provides a <br /> summary of all committed and developed projects in Orange County. <br /> Item 7.b. — Orange County and NCDOT Highway Division Luncheon Meeting Notes — On <br /> January 9, 2019 Orange County and the NCDOT Highway Division had a luncheon meeting to <br /> discuss various right-of-way topics; policies, programs and new projects; NCDOT updates on <br /> pending or active projects; and Orange County staff updates on various local issues and <br /> projects. Notes on the meeting are provided in Attachment 7.b. <br /> Item 7.c. — MPO/RPO NCDOT Project Updates - NCDOT regularly releases lists of <br /> transportation projects underway. Attachment 7.c. provides current projects in the Triangle Area <br /> Rural Planning Organization (TARPO). <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with this item. <br /> Budgeted funds from are being utilized. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Staff recommends that the OUTBoard: <br /> 1. Receive information; and <br /> 2. Provide any comments that the Board might have. <br />
