MPO/RPO NCDOT Projects Use Planner, 919-245-2567 <br /> PURPOSE: Receive staff updates and provide any comments that the Board might have. <br /> Item 5.a. — Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management Plan — This item is an update <br /> from staff on the Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management Plan public hearing process <br /> and next steps. On September 19, 2018, Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUTBoard) <br /> began reviewing the Draft Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management Plan (E-B-M AMP) <br /> and at its October 17, 2018 meeting in the absence of a quorum, recommended the Board of <br /> County Commissioners (BOCC) approve the Plan with inclusion of some clarifying text <br /> additions. The E-B-M AMP is being revised to reflect the OUTBoard's recommendations. <br /> Item 5.b. — MPO/RPO NCDOT Project Updates - NCDOT regularly releases lists of <br /> transportation projects underway in the DCHC MPO and BG MPO. <br /> Item 5.c. — OUTBoard Orientation Materials — At the November 28, 2018 meeting, staff <br /> previewed the revised orientation materials with the Board. The materials are available online <br /> through the Boards and Committees section of the Planning Department's web <br /> page: http://www.orangecountVnc.gov/2005/OUTBoard-Orientation-Materials . Links are also <br /> provided within the orientation sections to information that is already provided elsewhere and/or <br /> regularly updated by other agencies, such as NCDOT and the MPOs/RPO. In this way, <br /> information is uniformly and accurately updated by the responsible agency. Staff will scheduled <br /> an orientation session with new OUTBoard members and any other members that wish to <br /> attend. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with this item. <br /> Budgeted funds from are being utilized. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Staff recommends that the OUTBoard: <br /> 1. Receive information; and <br /> 2. Provide any comments that the Board might have. <br />
