Article 5: Uses <br /> Section 5.8: Standards for Childcare & Educational Facilities <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County, North Carolina – Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-94 <br /> <br />(3) Site shall have direct access to a major road, as classified in the Orange County <br />Comprehensive Plan, and shall use said road as the primary access, unless <br />approved otherwise in the permit. <br />(4) All structures, facilities, storage areas, and parking areas shall be located a <br />minimum of 100 feet from all property lines. <br />(5) Special events are not allowed unless approved in the permit and may be limited <br />in duration, frequency, number of people in attendance, or other aspects. <br />(6) Loudspeakers and public address systems shall not be used before 7 a.m. or <br />after 7 p.m. if an existing residence is located within 1,000 feet of the facility, <br />unless approved otherwise in the permit. <br />(7) All unpaved areas shall be maintained in a manner which prevents dust from <br />adversely impacting adjacent properties. <br />5.7.8 Theater 155 <br />(A) Use Standards <br />(1) Drive-in Theaters shall not be permitted as a Conditional Use District. Refer to <br />Section 5.1.3 of this Ordinance. <br />(B) Standards for the NC-2 and CC-3 Zoning Districts <br />(1) Shall be located in-doors.
