Article 5: Uses <br /> Section 5.18: Standards for Miscellaneous ASSEMBLY Uses <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County, North Carolina – Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-164 <br /> <br />(b) The site plan shall show the boundaries of the site, the distances to the <br />nearest residential structures, access points, parking areas, service area, <br />location of proposed existing buildings. <br />(c) The landscape plan shall be at the same scale as the site plan and <br />should show how the facilities will be screened from the adjacent <br />properties, in addition, to proposed or existing trees, shrubs, and ground <br />cover. <br />(d) Elevations of buildings should show that the buildings preserve the <br />residential character of the area. <br />5.17.3 Commercial Cemeteries 197 <br />(A) Standards for Class B Special Use Permit <br />(1) Submittal Requirements <br />In addition to the information required by Section 2.7, the following shall be <br />submitted as part of the application: <br />(a) Evidence that the requirements of the North Carolina General Statutes <br />Chapter 65 can be achieved and that the standards of the N.C, <br />Cemetery Commission shall be met. <br />(2) Standards of Evaluation <br />(a) A minimum lot size of two acres is provided. <br />(b) The site shall have direct access to a collector or arterial street <br />(c) There shall be adequate space within the site for the parking and <br />maneuvering of funeral cartilages <br />(d) No interments shall take place within 30 feet of any lot line. <br />5.17.4 General Aviation Airports, STOL and Heliports 198 <br />(A) Standards for Class A Special Use Permit <br />(1) Submittal Requirements <br />In addition to the information required in section 2.7, the following shall be <br />submitted as part of the application: <br />(a) A configuration diagram depicting the layout of runways, taxiways, <br />approach zones and overrun areas. These diagrams should also be on <br />aerial photographs that show the area within five miles of the proposed <br />site. <br />(b) Isotonic contours showing the effects of aircraft operations upon land <br />within one mile of the boundary of the proposed site. <br />(c) The number and type of aircraft proposed to be stored including also the <br />storage areas for aircraft, fuel and motor vehicles, service areas for <br />aircraft. <br />(d) How on site fire and rescue services shall be provided and a letter from <br />the appropriate agency stating services are available and adequate to <br />protect the proposed facility. <br />(e) List land uses within the final approach zones of the airport. <br />197RelocatedtotheServicelandusecategory. <br />198RelocatedtotheAutomotiveandTransportationlandusecategory. <br /> 125
