($737,189.00) <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Orange County's Use of Article 46 Funding to Collaborate with Towns on Joint Economic <br /> 32 Development Projects: Town of Hillsborough <br /> 33 • Cumulative value of Article 46 funds used since 2012 to approve small business grants <br /> 34 & small business loans, and agriculture grants for Hillsborough-based firms, including <br /> 35 food processing tenants at the Piedmont Food Processing Center. ($1,029,704.00) <br /> 36 • County has plans in 2019— 2020 to extend sewer to serve commercial & light industrial <br /> 37 sites within the Hillsborough Economic Development District, located at the southwest <br /> 38 quadrant of Interstate 40 and Old N.C. 86. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 City of Mebane <br /> 41 . Orange County pays a $50,000 annual "Utility Service Agreement") to Mebane to <br /> 42 guarantee a reserve capacity of 250,000 gal/day of sewer to serve the Economic <br /> 43 Development District sites in the Efland, Buckhorn Road & Mebane region in western <br /> 44 Orange County. <br /> 45 • County has previously completed one sewer line project (connecting to the factory <br /> 46 Morinaga) to serve commercial & light industrial sites within the Buckhorn Economic <br /> 47 Development District in western Orange County, and has recently completed Phase II of <br /> 48 the Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane sewer line extension project. <br /> 49 <br />
