m <br />• Eligibility of project <br />• Emissions analysis <br />• Project cost and source of the funding match <br />• Proposed project implementation schedule <br />• Miscellaneous project issues <br />• Supporting information <br />CMAQ Timeline <br />October 20-22,2004 <br />The CMAQ application process will be discussed at the MPO Conference and call for <br />projects will be issued. <br />January 24, 2005 <br />The deadline for CMAQ projects to be submitted to the Systems Planning Unit of TPB <br />(NCDOT). <br />March 1, 2005 <br />The CMAQ review committee completes their review of projects and will submit their <br />recommendations to the Secretary and the Board of Transportation for approval. <br />June 2005 <br />Upon Board of Transportation approval, projects will be included in the final TIP. <br />CMAQ Miscellaneous <br />• Target .Allocations are for a 7 year period. <br />Funding will be reallocated after PM 2.5 non - attainment areas have been designated <br />and after the CMAQ program is reauthorized. <br />• Projects and target allocations will be evaluated yearly to ensure that goals are being <br />met and projects are progressing as intended.. <br />
