portions of the northern tract are located in the Cane Creek/Buckhorn District. Maple View is <br />the only participating farm in the White Cross district at this time. <br />There are currently 15 participating farms in Orange County voluntary agricultural districts. The <br />Nutters' application adds almost 60 acres to their previous enrollment for Maple View Farm, <br />increasing the total number of acres in the program to approximately 2,958. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. Voluntary agricultural <br />districts are non-monetary conservation agreements. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board certify 382 acres of Maple <br />View Farm as qualifying farmland, designate it as a participating farm within White Cross and <br />the Cane Creek/Buckhorn voluntary agricultural districts, and authorize staff to finalize and the <br />Chair sign the Conservation Agreement. <br />
