Orange County Parks and Recreation Council —Appointments <br /> 4 The Board considered making appointments to the Orange County Parks and <br /> 5 Recreation Council. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Dorosin to <br /> 8 appoint the following to the Orange County Parks and Recreation Council: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 • Position 7 for Kim Manturuk - Chapel Hill Township for a Partial Term ending <br /> 11 03/31/2020. <br /> 12 • Position 11 for Gina Reyman - Eno Township for a First Full Term ending 12/31/2021. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 15 <br /> 16 A motion was made by Commissioner Greene, seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos <br /> 17 to appoint Amanda Argan to position 3 — Cedar Grove Township with an expiration date of <br /> 18 3/31/2021 (because this position has been vacant for more than 6 months and the BOCC have <br /> 19 a policy that states if a position has been vacant for more than 6 months, then the Board can fill <br /> 20 it with any applicant on the interest listing). <br /> 21 <br /> 22 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Commissioner Price said that she knows of a resident that will be applying for the other <br /> 25 vacant position — Cheeks Township (which has also been vacant for more than 6 months) and <br /> 26 she would like the Board's consideration of not filling this position at this time until the applicant <br /> 27 that she knows from Cheek's Township has a chance to apply. <br /> 28 The Board agreed by consensus. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 c. Orange Unified Transportation Board —Appointments <br /> 31 The Board will consider making appointments to the Orange Unified Transportation <br /> 32 Board. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 A motion was made by Commissioner Marcoplos, seconded by Commissioner Greene <br /> 35 to appoint the following to the Orange Unified Transportation Board: (Art Menius (current <br /> 36 Chair) has recently moved to Little River Township. The Little River Township position is <br /> 37 currently vacant. Given the difficulty in finding applicants in some rural areas, the <br /> 38 recommendation has been made to move Art Menius to the Little River Position and fill his <br /> 39 current At-Large position with a BOCC appointee.) <br /> 40 <br /> 41 • Position 7 BOCC Appointment—Todd Jones-At-Large for a 1 st Full Term ending <br /> 42 09/30/202. <br /> 43 • Position 8 for Art Menius - Little River Township to Fulfill his 2nd term as Little River <br /> 44 Township Rep. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 47 <br /> 48 12.
