Ratification of Contract Signature Authority for Emergency Contract <br /> 2 The Board ratified the County Manager's signature on an emergency repair contract change <br /> 3 request executed with the WxProofing, LLC. in the amount of$25,996 which increased the <br /> 4 original contract sum to $105,864 and above the Manager's signature limit of$90,000. <br /> 5 m. Authorization for the County Manager to Execute Contracts for Ambulance Remounts <br /> 6 The Board authorized the County Manager to execute contracts for the purchase and <br /> 7 remounting of ambulances approved during the FY 2018-19 budget process. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 10 Bonnie Hammersley said she met with the Town of Chapel Hill (TOCH) Manager and <br /> 11 discussed the Wegman's project and how the County will be informed. She said it was agreed <br /> 12 that the Economic Development Directors will keep the Managers informed and will report back <br /> 13 any changes to each entity. <br /> 14 Bonnie Hammersley referred to the Gateway Station planning, and she requested that <br /> 15 Chair Rich and Commissioner Marcoplos be included on the distribution listing for any <br /> 16 correspondence and meetings related to the Gateway Station, and presume these two <br /> 17 Commissioners would share this information with the BOCC. <br /> 18 Bonnie Hammersley said the Board previously raised the topics of the Hillsborough train <br /> 19 station and sidewalks, and she has a meeting scheduled with Margaret Hauth, Hillsborough <br /> 20 Planning, and Eric Peterson, Hillsborough Town Manager, and she also invited Todd Wirt, OCS <br /> 21 Superintendent. <br /> 22 Bonnie Hammersley apologized on behalf of staff for not getting the retreat agenda to <br /> 23 the Board until tonight. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 26 John Roberts said on January 91" the Legislature met for their organizational meeting, <br /> 27 and set a January 31s' reconvene date. He said the Legislature also set a deadline date for <br /> 28 filing local bills of March 61" for the House, and February 271" for the Senate. He said the <br /> 29 BOCC's Legislative Breakfast is not until March 11t". He said the first Legislative Issues Work <br /> 30 Group meeting will occur tomorrow, and if any Commissioners have local bill needs to please <br /> 31 communicate with the representatives to this work group: Commissioners Price and Dorosin. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 11. *Appointments <br /> 34 <br /> 35 a.
