The classification supervises a <br /> division with multiple positions. <br /> Minimum Qualifications <br /> • Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and six <br /> years of experience in emergency services, emergency planning, and/or emergency <br /> communications. OR Masters with three years of experience. <br /> • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina. <br /> • IAEM Certified Emergency Manager(CEM) preferred <br /> • North Carolina Executive Emergency Manager certification preferred <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br /> Examples of physical activities required in this position: <br /> Sitting a computer <br /> Walking between workstations <br /> Carrying equipment <br /> Possible Hazards (chemicals, dangerous machinery, etc.) <br /> Microwave/radio wave <br /> Electrical <br /> Emergency scene operations <br />
