(Trigon) has completed the Phase II Environmental Site <br />Assessment of-the closed landfill site located next to the Fairview Park in Hillsborough.. The <br />work was performed in general accordance with our January 4, 2000, Proposal For <br />Environmental, Community Relations, and Geotechnical Support (No. 036-99-091-P). <br />The purpose of this assessment, in conjunction with a geotechnical evaluation also completed by <br />Trigon, was to define the extent of the landfilling, and to evaluate whether there are hazardous <br />substances in soil and groundwater, or landfill gas that could pose a threat to human health o[ the <br />environment. <br />Trigon appreciates the opportunity to provide our <br />County.
