<br /> <br />A. Communication Supervisor notifies the Data Systems Manager, <br />Communications Manager, and Director of Emergency Services <br />Immediately via phone (cell or satellite). <br />B. Communications Supervisor will contact Alamance for permission to do an <br />immediate re-route until the Orange County Backup Facility is operational. <br />C. Communications Manager or designee request the rerouting from Intrado <br />following these steps: <br />x Call the 24 hour Intrado Emergency Call Relay Center and requests <br />rerouting/abandonment (password restricted). <br />D. Backup Facility Activation steps: <br />x Communications Manager and Data Systems Manager will maintain <br />keys to the alternate facility (with backups provided in the primary <br />PSAP) <br />x Power on computer equipment <br />x Ensure connection to CPE and CAD servers <br />x Notify Orange County Asset Management (on-call) and Orange <br />County IT of facility activation. <br />x Assign console positions and ensure staff receive just-in-time <br />refresher training <br />x Relocate staff to alternate facility. <br />x Once the alternate facility is established, call the 24 hour Intrado <br />Emergency Call Relay Center and request to resume normal <br />operations. This will ensure calls begin ringing to the alternate <br />facility. <br />x Orange County Communications Operations Manager will notify <br />Alamance County 9-1-1 Director once normal operations have <br />resumed within the Backup Facility. <br />E. If it is determined at a later date that it is necessary to provide other <br />communications equipment or procedures so as to be able to accomplish <br />the purpose of this Agreement, amendments to this Agreement may be <br />executed identifying the cost obligations of each party for such additional <br />equipment. <br /> <br />F.
