Triangle J is pleased to revise the document as requested and
to resubmit it for Orange County's further review, consideration and execution. I am writing
today for this purpose.
Attached you will find two originals of the Memorandum of Understanding for the
Development and Infrastructure Partnership., This document has been revised for the signature
of the chairman of the board of commissioners, Mr. Carey. It is requested that, upon the board's
approval, Mr. Carey sign this Memorandum of Understanding where indicated in duplicate •
originals, retaining one original for the county's records and files while returning one fully
signed copy to Triangle J.
As previously mentioned, Triangle J's Planning Director, John Hodges-Copple, will soon
be in touch with Chairman Carey with information on start up and calendar availability. After
establishing all the necessary contacts and the sharing of information an organizational meeting
will be the first order of business. Dependent upon calendars, we should be in a position to
actively move ahead and begin our work this fall.
Allow me to once again express Triangle J's most sincere appreciation for Orange
County's interest in this important initiative. I look forward to moving ahead on this endeavor
and to a successful partnership for the Triangle.
Sin ly yours,
~P
Dee A.
