The Chair of the Library Services Task Force, Dr, Evelyn Daniel, will make the presentation to <br />the BOCC, <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: At this point, County staff has not conducted a thorough analysis of the <br />direct or indirect casts associated with any of the recommendations by the Task Force. The <br />BOCC would ultimately need tc discuss and determine the overall magnitude and relative <br />priority of any it~ture capital project proposal alongside various funding scenarios for <br />development/construction and on-going operational costs. The Library currently holds <br />$120,000 in a NC Collection Endowment Fund grant that can be used as a capital contribution <br />towards a Heritage Center. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the Final Report <br />as information and provide feedback and direction to the Task Force and/ar County staff as <br />desired. <br />
