This colocation will improve response times in the <br />northeastern section of the County and will allow for the relocation of the Northside Supervisor <br />Unit to a facility that has appropriate sleeping quarters, and authorize the Manager to execute <br />the agreement upon review by the County Attorney. <br />f. Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2018 <br />The Board moved the Tuesday, September 18, 2018 regular meeting to Thursday, September <br />20, 2018 at Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill. <br /> <br />9. County Manager’s Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said there is an update on the affordable housing County-owned <br />parcels of land. She said three proposals have been received, and the group reviewed these <br />on October 23. She said these proposals will be brought to the BOCC on November 20. <br /> She reviewed the following items to be discussed at the upcoming work session: <br /> <br />Projected November 9, 2017 Regular Work Session Items <br />• BOCC Boards and Commissions Selection Process <br />• Ordinance Review - Sections to Revise and Repeal <br /> <br />10. County Attorney’s Report <br />John Roberts said at the November 9th work session the BOCC will look at updating <br />ordinances, and staff will seek direction from the Board of County Commissioners, and <br />updates on the UDO. <br /> <br />11. *Appointments <br /> <br />a. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee – Appointment <br />The Board considered making an appointment to the Adult Care Home Community <br />Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs <br />to appoint the following to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee: <br /> <br />• Appointment to second full term (Position #7) “At-Large” position for Yvonne <br />Mendenhall expiring 10/31/2019. <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />b. Chapel Hill Planning Commission – Appointment <br />The Board considered making an appointment to the Chapel Hill Planning Commission. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner McKee to <br />appoint the following to the Chapel Hill Planning Commission: <br /> <br />• Appointment to a partial term (Position #1) “ETJ or JPA BOCC Appointee” <br />representative for Katherine Roberts expiring 06/30/2018. <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />c. Commission for the Environment – Appointment
