11 <br /> <br />5) update the guidelines regarding the availability and sale of alcoholic beverages on <br />County premises. <br /> <br />Commissioner Price said she would like the policy to charge a minimal administrative <br />fee if a group has to back out at the last moment, since many groups are non-profits. She <br />proposed this as a friendly amendment. <br />Jeff Thompson said public purpose entities are not charged for uses. <br />Commissioner Price said non-profits are charged. <br />Alan Dorman said no they are not and this is more of a charge for people using <br />facilities for weddings; not for non-profits. <br />Commissioner Price withdrew her friendly amendment. <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />7. Minutes <br />The Board approved the minutes from October 17, 2017 as submitted by the Clerk to the <br />Board. <br />b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br />property tax values for two taxpayers with a total of two bills that will result in a reduction of <br />revenue, in accordance with the NCGS. <br />c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br />values for eight taxpayers with a total of eight bills that will result in a reduction of revenue in <br />accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. <br />d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br />The Board considered eight untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br />taxation for eight bills for the 2017 tax year. <br />e. Substation Use Agreement between Orange County and the Eno Volunteer Fire <br />Department <br />The Board approved a Substation Use Agreement between Orange County and the Eno <br />Volunteer Fire Department to house an Orange County Ambulance at Eno Station #2 located
