One daughter <br />mentioned that sometimes her mother would resort to calling <br />her and then the daughter would call the facility so that <br />someone would attend to her mother. She thought weekends <br />were usually most difficult. <br />Few residents mentioned that they participated in activities. <br />One noted few were intellectual. A few individuals <br />complained about the food. One mentioned she had lost <br />weight; another woman said she brought food in for her <br />mother. <br />Comments about rehab services were positive. One resident <br />said the staff was generally good and routines helpful. <br />yes Discuss items from “Areas of Concern” Section <br />as well as any changes observed during the visit <br /> <br />There was a marked difference <br />observed in terms of staff morale. One <br />credited the new administrator who has <br />only been at the helm three week. <br />He discussed several goals including <br />building staff morale through recognition <br />programs and improving cuisine. He <br />welcomed comments and was looking <br />forward to his first resident council <br />meeting. <br />The building was clean and odor free.
