Yes, it is an industry that <br /> gives a community opportunities to improve itself from a visual and experiential perspective. But <br /> beyond that, it is industry and we need that-- as long a <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br /> We live in a small community and there is always a need to check ourselves and our motives <br /> when it comes to conflicts of interest. I have prior and current working relationships with Orange <br /> County Government and have done work for the Visitor s Bureau. Co-organized a breakfast focused on entrepreneurship <br /> for the Hillsborough Chamber and Orange County Schools, March 2011. 1 am passionate <br /> about pushing forward Orange County's economic development efforts. I see this as a <br /> social justice issue in that we're creating jobs for those who live here or want to live here. I <br /> also see economic development as critical to nurture if we want to continue offering the <br /> quality of life we already have while also expanding efforts in other areas -- social <br /> services, recreational opportunities for residents. We must have a county-wide <br /> perspective while respecting the unique characteristics of each area or municipality <br />
