This question was in the context of other studies in Orange
County (such as the Cane Creek Protected and Critical Areas and University Lake
Protected and Critical Areas studies) that scientifically supported water quality
sustainability through lowering land use density and impervious percentage.
Technical studies have been recently conducted for the Upper Neuse River Basin
Association (UNRRA), which includes 60% (242.5 square miles) of the County
comprising primarily the central and northern areas (see Map #1). This includes our
watershed areas such as Upper and Lower Eno, Little River, Fiat River and the smaller
Hyco Creek basins.
GAAdministmdve Div\Sherri\Cmig\L.ink Leum\Link 9 -1 -04 doc
