Other Business Hauser asks Cody about the orange recycling bins, I understand we <br /> have a warehouse full of them . People that use the convenience centers would like to <br /> buy them and bring their recycling to the convenience centers using them , Is there a <br /> possibility to establish a program for that? <br /> Pollock states that I can take that up with Gayle . Historically we haven' t sold curbside <br /> bins outside of people who have access to curbside service [the 3 -R Fee buys the bins] . <br /> There isn' t a surplus . There is enough there to make the replacement schedule . We <br /> lose about 1 % of our bin supply every year to people running them over or people <br /> moving etc , so we try to maintain three pots of bins . One for replacements, one for <br /> people that move in for infill and then 1 , 000 were purchased last year for the <br /> expansion . Those were distributed for the first two and not replaced . <br /> Asks Cody Marshall is there any update on fluorescent lamps ? <br /> Marshall states that we are still researching ways to haul it. There is also a space <br /> constraint at the convenience centers and how citizens are able to put them there <br /> without breaking them . We are not collecting them at any convenience centers now . <br /> EcoFlo takes them from Hazardous Waste collection. Our concept is to collect at the <br /> same time we collect electronics, but we haven t solved the details yet. <br /> Smith moves to adjourn.
