The paper more than likely <br /> went to Sonoco in Durham and from there it may have gone to China, a newsprint <br /> mill in Georgia which can take mixed paper or to their Hartsville cardboard mill . The <br /> cans and bottles either went to Waste Management' s sorting facility in Raleigh or to <br /> FCR sorting facility in Greensboro . From there plastic bottles became carpet, or <br /> plastic strapping or pretty soon bottles . Glass was recovered to and sent to a glass mill <br /> in Raleigh where it was color sorted and sold to a bottle maker in Henderson, <br /> Winston or Wilson. Steel scrap went to a smelter and so did aluminum . <br /> 7 . Other Business - None <br /> Smith moves to adjourn .
