LPA Comparison of TIP Project Changes <br />Between the 2004-2008 TIP and 2006- <br />2012TIP for DCHC MPO Local <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough <br />Chapel Hill <br />Durham <br />Mebane <br />732-8181 <br />968-4501 <br />688-7331 <br />336-227-2031 <br />Supplement <br />6, Comparison of Draft 2006-2012 TIP and <br />Orange County Priority List <br />PURPOSE: To consider resolutions providing comments regarding the Draft 2006 - 2012 State <br />Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), There are two resolutions: one to the North <br />Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and one to the Transportation Advisory <br />Committee (TAC) of the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization <br />(DCHC MPO), <br />BACKGROUND: The North Carolina Board of Transportation (BOT) released the Draft STIP <br />April 6, 2005, for atwo-month public comment period ending June 3, 2005. <br />Staff was unable to deliver a report on the STIP at the Board's meeting on May 3, 2005 <br />because of time constraints. Attachments from the report are included with this abstract. <br />Attachment 3 (pp 22-34) is the Draft TIP for Orange County, including Chapel Hill Transit <br />projects and Triangle Transit Authority Projects in Orange County. <br />Attachment 4 (pp 35-37) shows changes between the 2004-2010 TIP and Draft 2006-2012 <br />STIP for Orange County for bridge, interstate, rural and urban highway, bicycle and pedestrian <br />and high hazard projects, Changes are noted in the "Comments" column and new projects are <br />shaded in gray.. <br />Attachment 5 (pp 38-41) cohtains tables, prepared by the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br />Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) Lead Planning Agency (LPA), that list project <br />
