Lincoln explained that the Orange County Unified Transportation Advisory Board <br /> membership will consist of one member from each of the seven townships , one <br /> member from the Planning Board , one member from the Economic Development <br /> Commission , one member from the Commission for the Environment , one member <br /> from the Transportation Services Board , one member/ advocate for bicycle <br /> transportation , one member/advocate for pedestrian access and safety , and one <br /> member/ advocate for transit . <br /> Stancil will email absent members to solicit a volunteer seeing that the present <br /> members were over extended . <br /> VIII . Outreach Calendar <br /> Shaw provided information about and plans for the upcoming FestiFall event in Chapel <br /> Hill . This year ' s FestiFall will be held October 2 from 1 - 6pm . Updates on Other Projects <br /> Greenhouse Gas Emissions project : The BOCC is expected to approve a contract for <br /> the Greenhouse Gas Emissions project in September . The Air Quality Advisory <br /> Committee will begin and a volunteer was solicited for this group . <br /> Land Use Element : News from the Planning Department on the Land Use Element <br /> reveals that a draft text is forthcoming in four to six weeks . <br /> Stillhouse Creek Restoration Project : The project was recently approved by the BOCC <br /> and is moving forward . <br /> Local Ozone Strategies : deferred until next month . <br /> Limbert asked to have time on the October meeting agenda to present information <br /> about the " Land for Tomorrow " initiative . <br /> Smith reminded members that the October meeting would be in Hillsborough at the <br /> Government Services Center . <br /> X .
