`ry
Step 2 Describe the desired outcome or goal ( ConditionB )
My proposal is to bring a# interested parties to the table
for the purpose of information exchange and mutual education .
The purpose of this forum will not be to debate specif is issues
or try and persuade someone to change their views . I would
consider this forum a success if every individual in attendance
came out with some bit of information that they did not have
coming in .
Step 3 Describe tangible indicators and / or milestones
that can be used to measure whether or not progress is
being made from Condition A to Condition B ( what will you
see , hear , and experience that tells you that you are on
the right track ? )
One tangible indicator would be what I hear through my
everyday conversations with loggers , buyers , landowners , and
citizens . One thing I have found out is that most people usually
have an opinion on forestry issues , and they are not ashamed to
itl Another indicator would be the number of
tell you about
citizen complaints that I get on harvest operations through out
the district . I would think that the frivolous nature of some of
the calls would decrease as awareness increased . Finally ongoing
forums would be a good indicator of interest and would thus be a
good indicator of possible progress .
