Call to Order . <br /> Crisler called the meeting to order at 70. 35 p . m . . <br /> II . Additions or Changes to Agenda . <br /> Stancil suggested adding an item prior to the breakout sessions on an <br /> appointment to the Intergovernmental Parks Work Group . The Commission <br /> agreed to add this as Item # X . <br /> III . Approval of Minutes (August 14, 2000 ) . <br /> MOTION : Tucker made motion to approve the August 14 , 2000 minutes with <br /> noted changes by Kohorn . Seconded by Kohorn . <br /> VOTE : unanimous . <br /> IV . Open Burning Issues <br /> Stancil gave an overview of Open Burning issues , including recent media <br /> coverage of the Lake Hogan Farm situation and legislation recently adopted <br /> by the General Assembly . <br /> In July , the General Assembly ratified a bill giving Orange County authority to <br /> regulate and prohibit the open burning of trees , limbs , stumps and <br /> construction debris .
