We moved here just after the major burning from Hurricane Fran, which was positive, and, also, <br /> within the law . <br /> I am more concerned about the pollution; both noise and lies , coming from a couple of new residents . Also, <br /> before Commissioner Jacobs goes for cheap public quotes , he should demand and share the actual <br /> documentation on any damaged health ! We have seen no documentation, just--- a little smoke . <br /> I have lived in a community that was so controlled that yard leaf burning was against the law-- - - how silly <br /> & costly . The controlled burnings on Lake Hogan Farms are well supervised and are the most efficient and <br /> effective for the residents and the area taxpayers . <br /> If a tired truck driver in a big truck loaded with stumps and headed to the local landfill , ran over a small <br /> child playing in the street ( which is common-place here) , how would these two women feel? <br /> Please ignore this petition, which was aggressively solicited and based on false claims of smoke & ashes <br /> causing possion ivy , asthma and cancer .
