Citizens In the Arthur Minnis Road Area voiced opposition to <br /> the subdivision in early July because they had not been notified . ( Notification is not required in this <br /> area ) . Staff suggested they bring these concerns to the July 10 , 2002 Planning Board meeting <br /> where they had the ability to present their issues . More than ten ( 10 ) residents spoke and their <br /> comments are included in the verbatim minutes attached . At that meeting , staff explained that the <br /> project was consistent with the zoning of the area and that the project had been approved by the <br /> BOCC based on the full evaluation of all code items . <br /> In addition , staff commented that their input is important as we examine the general issues of new <br /> development and compatibility with existing land use . pattems as the County , undertakes the <br /> Comprehensive Plan update process . <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT : None at this time . <br /> RECOMMENDATION ( S) : The Manager recommends that the Board receive the information <br /> regarding Tuscany Ridge . <br />
