Your insights will allow you to determine which growth management prolicies , strategies , and tools are right and which are not . 3 . GuIdar~ cs During Flan Development. You should provide local pempective and insight on information gathered as well as feedback on polie8 , strategies , and tools as they are developed . In doing ao , you will play s odtical role in helping to shape the specific policies that will lead Orange County and your COMMunity wall into the 21 Century. At the same time , you are not beir) g asked to be a planner or policy writer, rather, you are to be a sounding board for the Citizens of Orange County , your CommissionlBoard , and your comrnunhy . 4 . Public M "ti ngs Facilitation And Support , During the course of the planning pr oceas , you may be asked to help facilitate public meetings . Specific voles will be discussed and agreed upon before each meeting and may include : greeting / signing people in , facilitating small groups , summarizing meeting results , serving as a resouros person during meeting activities . 5 . Plan Presentation . At the conclusion of the planning process , you will likely participate in presenting the results of the Comprehonsive Plan Land Use Committee to the Planning Beard and Board of County Commissioners, 6 . Networking And Recruitment, You know others in the county and your community who have a keen interest in the future of our area , These others may include friends , neighbors , businass associates , or others in positions of interest and influence . By inviting these individuals to participate in the planning procees , you can help make sure that all viewpoints within the county are embodied In the plan . ROLE OF OTHER GROUPS ) AGENCIES AND STAKEHOLDERS 1 . Orange County Commissions and Boards . As the Plan is being developed , each Commission and Board will be briefed by their representatives on CPLUC on the Plane progress . Courtesy copies of any CPLUC materials shall be provided to the Commissions and Boards as they are developed . 2 . Munrcipaf Goveming Boards in Orange County . While , the members of the CPLUC are from Counter Commissions and Boards , this In no way diminishes the role of the municipallbes in the Comprehensive Planning Process . As the Plant Is developed , each municipality will be periodically briefed on the Plan ' s progress . Courtesy copies of any CPLUC materials shall be provided to the municipalities as they are developed .
