Commissioner Gordon noted that the CFE is a bit different from most other advisory boards in that CFE members bring their technical training and expertise to the board rather than having to be trained to enhance their participation . Fortmann asked members to email any suggestions to Stancil for final wording preparation to bring back at the January meeting for final adoption . VI . BOCC Agenda Items Update The meeting packet included selected materials of interest from the previous month ' s BOCC agenda . Fortmann explained that he had asked staff to provide this kind information each month . Stancil reviewed the materials and agreed to make this a standing item for future CFE agendas . Calendar of Meetings for 2002 Stancil asked if everyone had reviewed and was in approval of the proposed 2002 meeting calendar that was included in the meeting materials . He noted that the second Monday of the month was reserved as has been customary for the CFE meetings . Commissioner Gordon noted that three of those same dates were also scheduled for BOCC work sessions . The CFE members approved the 2002 schedule . VIII .
