VII . Lands Legacy Annual Action Plan — FY 2003 - 04 <br /> Shaw reported that the proposed Lands Legacy Annual Action Plan ( AAP ) for fiscal <br /> year 2002 - 03 was presented to the BOCC on November 11 and was well received . <br /> Adoption of the plan is expected in early December . He noted that the AAP is <br /> usually adopted concurrently with the CIP process , but this year it was delayed <br /> pending decisions about the CIP and the 2001 bond sales . <br /> Shaw noted that the 2002 - 03 Action Plan includes several of the sites that were <br /> recommended by the CfE . He showed a map of the priority sites and identified <br /> those recommended by the CfE , including Seven Mile Creek natural areas , <br /> Shagbark Hickory Forest natural area , Pickards Mountain natural area , and Upper <br /> Eno Watershed critical areas . <br /> The draft Annual Action Plan for 2003 - 04 will be developed this fall for presentation <br /> to the BOCC in January . The CfE is invited to identify priorities in the area of <br /> natural areas and watershed riparian buffers . Shaw said he will work with the <br /> Biological Resources Committee to identify sites for recommendations by the CfE in <br /> December or January . Cotterman asked if preliminary report from Bruce Sorrie <br /> would be available of inclusion of information . Shaw said that he would request <br /> that information for BRC consideration . <br /> VIII . Adjournment ( Next Meeting — December 9 , 2002 ) <br /> Vidra suggested that as the committee has a lot of work to get accomplished , the <br /> December meeting start earlier .
