Comments and Recommendation on Triangle Land Conservancy Report
(Rating Lands by their Wildlife Value)
Stancil noted that the CFE was asked by the BOCC to develop comments on this report
and how it should be used .
Price inquired about whether there are any tools in existence for requiring preservation
of wildlife habitat . The only known regulations were Federal Endangered Species act
regulations .
Kohorn noted that the report ' s recommendations are valid from a conservation biology
perspective but could have been made with or without this study being completed .
