WALKER having an <br />address of 5317 Normans Road, Rougemont, NC 27572, (referred to as "Grantor"), to ORANGE <br />COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, having an address of Post Office Box 8181, Hillsborough, <br />NC 27278 and ASSOCIATION FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE ENO RIVER <br />VALLEY, INC., a North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation, having an address of 4404 Guess <br />Road, Durham, NC 27712, also known as the Eno River Association, (both together referred to <br />as “Grantee” or “Grantees”). <br />The designation Grantor and Grantees as used herein shall include said parties, their <br />respective heirs, successors and assigns, and shall include singular, plural, masculine, feminine <br />or neutral pronouns as required by context. <br />WHEREAS: <br />Grantor is the sole owner in fee simple, of certain farm properties identified in Exhibit A <br />located in Little River Township, Orange County, North Carolina and identified on the plat of <br />property entitled “________________________________ prepared by ____________________, <br />which plat is recorded at Plat Book _____ Page ______, Orange County Registry, and 77.4 acres <br />of said farm properties will be covered by this Conservation Easement as shown on said recorded <br />plat (the “Protected Property”). <br />The Protected Property consists primarily of productive agricultural land. The majority <br />of the soils on the Protected Property are classified as "prime" or “statewide important” soils by <br />the Natural Resources Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture (also <br />7Attachment 4
