Northern Fairview Community <br /> Current Departmental Square Footage : <br /> Current # Employees : NIA <br /> Proposed Square Footage : N/A <br /> Options to accommodate space needs : <br /> This building was about four years ago through a joint effort between the Town of <br /> Hillsborough and Orange County . For the first years , the space was made <br /> available to the County ' s human services departments . At least one Health <br /> Department employee operated from this location . More recently , the <br /> Department of Emergency Management has utilized the space to out- post a <br /> medic unit . The Department is currently analyzing call data to determine the <br /> origin of emergency medical calls in anticipation of locating EMS bases within a <br /> geographic range designed to enhance response times . It is unclear at this <br /> time , what the long -term usage of this facility might be for EMS services . <br /> However , it is to be noted that the Town of Hillsborough has expressed interest in <br /> obtaining the building in its entirety for Town use . In the event the location is not <br /> determined to be strategic to EMS services , the County could entertain an offer <br /> from the Town to acquire the County' s portion of the building . <br /> 56 <br />
