BOCC Goals and Objectives <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Abigaile Pittman, Transportation/Land <br />Use Planner, 919-245-2567 <br />PURPOSE: To discuss the OUTBoard Annual Report 2018 and Work Plan 2019 for the annual <br />Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) planning retreat in early 2019. The Annual Report <br />informs the BOCC of the past year’s activities of advisory boards/commissions and assists in <br />overall County work planning for 2019. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: As part of its annual planning retreat, the Board of County Commissioners <br />(BOCC) welcomes input from various advisory boards and commissions, including the <br />OUTBoard. The Planning Staff completes the Annual Report 2018, and consults with the <br />OUTBoard on the development of the Work Plan for 2019. <br /> <br />The Annual Report 2018 and Draft Work Plan 2019 is provided as Attachment 1 for the staff and <br />the OUTBoard to complete and return to the Clerk’s office by December 14. The Annual Report <br />will inform the BOCC of the past yearly activities of the OUTBoard. The Work Plan will provide a <br />plan for future activities of the OUTBoard. These activities should be consistent with the adopted <br />goals and objectives of the Board of County Commissioners (Attachment 2). <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with this item. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Staff recommends that the OUT Board: <br /> <br />1. Receive information; <br />2. Provide any comments or direction that the Board might have; <br />3. Approve the OUTBoard Annual Report 2018 and Work Plan 2019; and <br />4. Forward to the Clerk’s Office. <br />15
