MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: PAT MALLETT,PLANNER I1,ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING&INSPECTIONS DEPARTMENT <br /> FROM: JEFF SCOUTEN,ORANGE COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> SUBJECT: CHESTNUT RIDGE CAMP SLIP PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS---PLANS DATED 7/30/18 <br /> DATE: OCTOBER 8,2018 <br /> I have completed my review of the subject plans and the following comments must be satisfactorily <br /> addressed before I can offer my recommendation for approval: <br /> • For the existing facility which accommodates a design capacity of 287 people, there are 2 <br /> garbage dumpsters(8 CY each)and 2 mixed-recycling dumpsters(8 CY each) privately serviced: <br /> by Republic. <br /> • Based on the design capacity of 104 additional people with Phase IA, 1 additional garbage <br /> dumpster(8 CY) and 1 additional mixed-recycling dumpster(8 CY) for a cumulative 3 garbage <br /> dumpsters (8 CY) and 3 mixed-recycling dumpsters (8 CY) will be required. A note should be <br /> placed on the plans to that effect, <br /> • Based on the design capacity of 320 additional people with Phase 1B, 2 additional garbage <br /> dumpster(8 CY) and 2 additional mixed-recycling dumpster(8 CY) for a cumulative 5 garbage <br /> dumpsters (8 CY) and 5 mixed-recycling dumpsters (8 CY) will be required. A note should be <br /> placed on the plans to that effect. <br /> • Plan Sheet C-7 Site Plan Phase 1 —The title of this sheet states Phase 1. Is this the same as <br /> Phase A?Please explain and change on plan to match. <br /> • Plan Sheet C-8 (Site Plan Phase 2) —The title of this sheet states Phase 2.
