E- mail: tracey forrest @region.york.on, ca <br />6.7 City of Santa Monica, California <br />IES is currently in the process of finalising the City of Santa Monica's Greenhouse Gas <br />Emissions Reduction Local Action Plan. The plan included a GHG emissions inventory, <br />forecast and a strategy for achieving GHG reductions in both internal City operations and <br />among the residential, commercial and industrial sectors of the community. A City staff <br />project team was established to provide energy and waste data and suggest strategies for new <br />measures to be included in the Local Action Plan.
