Volunteers in the planning effort have contributed over 1,300 hours of work to the planning <br /> process, Over the next few months, the EDC and work group co-chairs will be bringing forward the <br /> draft plan, whose overall goal is to create 5,000 new private sector jobs and increase the assessed <br /> value of non-residential property by $125,000,000 by June 2009. We look forward to working with <br /> elected officials, private businesses, civic and business groups, and interested individuals to refine <br /> and finalize the plan, and to accomplishing our mission. <br />
